OAU SUG Elections 2025: Voting Opens Tomorrow � 12,000 Students Eligible
Obafemi Awolowo University Students Union Government elections are scheduled for tomorrow. 12,847 registered students will elect new executive officers in the most competitive race in a decade.
The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Students Union Government elections will hold tomorrow, June 28, 2025, from 8:00am to 4:00pm. A total of 12,847 registered students are eligible to vote across 10 polling units spread across the campus.
This year's race is widely regarded as the most competitive in OAU history. Five presidential candidates are vying for the top seat.
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) of OAU has announced that voting will be conducted electronically using student ID cards. Results will be announced by 7:00pm. Students are advised to check the IEC notice board in front of Mozambique Hall for their designated polling unit.
